Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Public House Barbell Club facilities, services, or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Membership

2.1 Eligibility

Members must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent if between 12-17 years of age. All members must complete and sign required waivers before using the facility.

2.2 Membership Types

  • 24/7 Contract: 12-month commitment at $80/month with no signup fee
  • 24/7 Monthly: Month-to-month at $90/month with $35 signup fee
  • 3-Day: 3 access days per week at $60/month with $35 signup fee

2.3 Payment Terms

Membership fees are billed monthly on the date you joined. Payment is due in full each month. We accept major credit cards and ACH transfers. Failed payments may result in membership suspension.

2.4 Cancellation Policy

  • Month-to-month memberships may be cancelled anytime before the next billing date with written notice
  • Contract memberships require completion of the 12-month term unless pausing for injury, travel, or deployment
  • Early termination fees may apply for contract memberships
  • No refunds for partial months

2.5 Membership Freeze

Members may freeze their membership for injury, extended travel, or deployment with two weeks written notice. Maximum freeze period and associated fees are determined by membership type.

3. Facility Use

3.1 Access Hours

Full members have 24/7 keyless access. Staffed hours are Monday–Friday 4pm–9pm and Saturday 10am–2pm. 3-Day members have access during any 3 days within a 7-day rolling period.

3.2 Equipment Usage

  • Use equipment only for its intended purpose
  • Return all equipment to proper storage after use
  • Report damaged or malfunctioning equipment immediately
  • Members are responsible for damage caused by misuse or negligence

3.3 Safety Requirements

  • Proper athletic attire and closed-toe shoes required
  • Use safety equipment (collars, spotters) when appropriate
  • No dropping weights from overhead or above waist height (except designated lifting platforms)
  • Wipe down equipment after use

4. Guest Policy

Guest passes may be available on a case-by-case basis at management discretion. All guests must sign waivers and follow all facility rules. Members are responsible for their guests' behavior.

5. Coaching Services

Personalized coaching services are separate from standard membership and require additional fees. Coaching terms, programming, and meet-day support are outlined in separate coaching agreements.

6. Prohibited Conduct

  • Harassment, discrimination, or intimidation of any kind
  • Illegal drug use or being under the influence of alcohol
  • Theft or vandalism
  • Photography or video recording without consent
  • Commercial activity without prior authorization
  • Violation of safety rules or Code of Conduct

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate membership immediately for violation of these terms, the Code of Conduct, or behavior deemed unsafe or disruptive. No refunds will be provided for terminated memberships.

8. Limitation of Liability

Use of our facilities and services is at your own risk. See our Liability Waiver for complete details. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Public House Barbell Club is not liable for injuries, accidents, or loss of personal property.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Members will be notified of significant changes via email. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
